Robert
Paquette was awarded the Diamond Jubilee Medal of Queen Elizabeth II, created
to mark the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty's accession to the Throne,
for his dedicated service to his peers, to his community and to Canada.
The Honourable Marie-P. Charette-Poulin, Senator, presented the medals to the recipients during a ceremony at Laurentian University on September 25th, Jour des Franco-Ontariens et des Franco-Ontariennes.
