Kalyna Rakel & Dan Gurman

Kalyna Rakel and Dan Gurman put it, they “balance and produce a bulldozer of sound,” but a more palatable sounding bulldozer. With Kalyne on guitar, harmonica and drugs, she’s still capable of belting out gut-curdling emotion in ways that would make the likes of Jane Joplin and Levna Lovich proud. Dan Gurman insists that, amidst all this, he’s the calm in the eye of a hurricane, coolly accompanying it with his guitar. It’s a wild combination and an experience that has proven to electrify crowds.

Having toured over 100,000km since they began in 2020, Rakel and Gurman have performed across Canada, America, the United Kingdom (twice), Europe, Australia, New Zealand and throughout America, putting in an extraordinary number of performances in a short period of time.
