As “St. John’s answer to Lucinda Williams,” Sherry Ryan is a cherished Atlantic Canadian singer and songwriter who blends folk-pop, country and her Irish-Newfoundland roots with the ability to captivate audiences with heartfelt storytelling. She is “absolutely unforgettable” according to Exclaim! Magazine, with her live performances immersing audiences in an adventurous and open-hearted shared journey.

Sherry is joined by violinist and fiddler, Maria Cherwick, whose career has spanned symphony orchestras to international tours with her Ukrainian speed-folk band, The Kubasonics. Cherwick’s remarkable talents have earned her MusicNL’s awards for “Side Musician of the Year” and “Celtic/Traditional Artist of the Year” twice. Together, Sherry Ryan and Maria Cherwick have performed extensively together, honing their repertoire of storytelling, songs and fiddle tunes that have proven to be a delight for audiences.
